Group Chairman

Bola is a UK-trained lawyer specializing in Corporate, Commercial & Energy Law. He started his career as an in-house lawyer with Messrs Turner & Newall before moving into private practice with Messrs Linder Myers and Davenport Lyons Solicitors. Bola holds an LLB (Hons) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University.

He left legal practice in 2001 to establish Maine Oil & Gas Corporation, a Junior E&P company that successfully acquired two oil blocks in the Nigeria 2005 Bid Round. In 2007, Bola co-founded Crossharbour Partners, a strategy consulting group (where he facilitated negotiations for large-scale infrastructure investments between a Chinese State-owned companies and the Nigerian government), He subsequently successfully developed and run companies with assets/ operations in the petroleum, mining and power sectors in Nigeria.

Bola is currently a CEO of Port2Port West Africa Limited, a Maritime Security Company specialising in provision of counter-piracy risk mitigation, intelligence and maritime security services for commercial clients operating in the Gulf of Guinea.

Bola is also Chairman of Lambert Willis Investments, a company originally incorporated in 1969 as a joint venture company between Lambert & Lowndes insurance group and Chief F.R.A. Williams, who currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Company. Lambert Willis has since evolved into an investment group with a portfolio in investments/ interests in the Insurance, Maritime, Real Estate and Agro-allied and Financial services sectors in Nigeria.

In addition, Bola is a co-founder of Earth Africa Holdings Limited, a new oil & gas upstream/ midstream company using proprietary technology to optimise oil production and enhanced oil recovery.
Earth Africa specialises in heavy oil development and is targeting the vast heavy oil reserves in sub-Saharan Africa with a special focus on Nigeria where it has already begun operations.

Yomi Williams
Group Chief Executive Officer

Yomi Williams graduated from the University of Bradford (UK), with BA Honours in Business Administration and a postgraduate professional qualification (ACII) Advanced Diploma in Insurance (UK). The last eight years he has developed expertise in Petroleum Trading and Marketing, Soft Commodities, Project Management & Strategy as his core competence.

After completion of his post graduate course Yomi worked for a leading venture capitalist firm in Lagos, Nigeria called Ventures & Trusts as head of their Oil and Gas desk where he was responsible for structuring finance for oil and gas transactions.

After leaving Ventures and Trusts Yomi moved to a medium sized oil-trading company called Ryden Oil. At Ryden Oil Yomi was head trader responsible for the purchase (Importation) and marketing of various petroleum products such as Gas Oil, Gasoline, and Kerosene.

After Leaving Ryden Oil Yomi set up Attrium Consultants Limited responsible for hosting educational seminars on Leadership and Management to promote better corporate governance and instil a better sense of leadership in the minds of younger Nigerians. Yomi was the youngest Nigerian as at 2010 to organize an international leadership and management conference with John C Maxwell in Lagos, Nigeria. He has also hosted numerous smaller events such as art exhibitions and business networking sessions.

Yomi also started consulting for and built relationships with governments in other West African countries (Sierra Leone, Liberia and others) seeking investments in government owned businesses as well their private sectors. Consulting for these governments gave him a unique understanding of various industries and business opportunities within the West African market as a whole. Yomi has also consulted for the third largest cement bag manufacturer in Nigeria, Riggs Ventures West Africa Plc. and project managed the expansion programme of their factory.

Yomi is currently a director of Port2Port West Africa Limited, a Maritime Security Company specialising in provision of counter-piracy risk mitigation, intelligence and maritime security services for commercial clients operating in the Gulf of Guinea.

Yomi has a flair for project management and strategy, over a period of time Yomi has developed the working experience and extensive network through the development of regional and international supply and financial networks across the value chain in his areas of expertise, to enhance operations be it trading, marketing and logistic solutions. Yomi has an in-depth understanding of geo-political and technical issues affecting a wide variety of businesses and their markets especially in his area of expertise.

Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer

Chikezie Evulukwu holds a BA Hons in Accounting & Finance and MSc. in Financial Analysis & Fund Management from University of Exeter, Devon, UK.

He has over 11 years in the financial services industry. He has worked primarily in investment banking and project finance. His work experience spans across 3 continents (Africa, Europe and Middle East), which include Lehman Brothers, Tiller Capital, Derivatives Consulting Group, Oando plc and Dunn Loren Merrifield. He has extensive experience in debt capital markets and other bespoke debt/credit instruments. For the past 4 years till date, the core industries he has focused on are the energy sector (Oil & gas, Power), mining and infrastructure where he has acquired extensive industry experience.

Chike has had the opportunity of working on some landmark transactions. Some of which are:

UK/Europe: €1.2 Billion sale of Airicity Holdings Limited to Scottish & Southern Energy Plc.; €250 Million Debt Financing for acquiring a 45% stake in Oil-Tanking GmbH for 3i Infrastructure Limited; Debt Financing of £1.3 Billion to NTL Transmition Towers for Acquisitions

UAE/Middle-East: $600 million Reserve Based lending for rare earth metals inventory monetization; $300 million nickel mine acquisition; reserve merger of NASDAQ listed entity

Nigeria/Africa: Oando’s $1.8 billion acquisition of Conco-Phillips onshore assets; the N213 billion Nigerian Electricity Stabilization Market Stabilization Facility (“NEMSF”); the first corporate bond with a floating rate coupon issued in Nigeria; first successful restructuring of State/sub-sovereign bond; Nigerian Power privatization initiative.

Group Chief Operating Officer

Dr Oluseyi Williams graduated from the University of Surrey (UK), with a Bachelor of Science Biomedical Sciences BSc (Hons). Oluseyi further attained a second degree from Kings College University of London with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). She did her electives in Nigeria, at ‘And Christie Private Dental Clinic’, Lagos and ‘AquaGem Dental Surgery’, Lagos. She then returned to the Uk where she worked as a trust dentist and clinical teacher and (National Health Service) trust dentist at the Dental Institute Kings College Hospital. She later worked at Forest Dental Practice as an associate Dentist.

Dr Oluseyi has had experience in diagnosing livestock diseases, biomedical research, laboratory testing, life support training, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventative dental care, history taking, examining, diagnosing and constructing treatment plans for patients with oral diseases, provision of simple and complex restorations, root-canal therapy, fixed and removeable prosthodontic restorations, surgical and non surgical extractions under local anaesthesia, and emergency dental treatments and administration and treatment of patients under inhalation and intravenous conscious sedation.

Dr Oluseyi has developed knowledge and expertise in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Bacteriology, Virology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Pathology, Physiology, Phytopathology and Toxicology.

Dr Oluseyi is a member of the UK General Dental Council (GDC) and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

Group Legal and Compliance

Oladele is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales and holds a Master of Laws Degree (with Distinction) from the University of Warwick, UK. He is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, Nigeria where he obtained his LL.B. (Hons.). He is a member of the International Bar Association, Law Society of England and Wales, the Financial Services Lawyers Association (UK) among other associations. He routinely advises on a wide range of corporate commercial and capital market transactions.

Oladele’s practice areas and core expertise are in Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Restructuring, SME Financing and Energy. Oladele has advised and participated in a wide range of transactions, some of which are:

Advised an indigenous power generation company on the acquisition of strategic generation assets in the power sector privatization in Nigeria including the company’s Technical Cooperation Agreement with an International EPC Company.

Advising a State-owned mineral exploration company on a proposed joint venture with a privately owned mining company on the acquisition of lead and zinc mineral exploitation rights in Nigeria.

Active member of the team of the lead solicitor’s that advised the Osun State government on the issuance of a N60 Billion Infrastructure Bond and Sukuk (Islamic Bond

Participated in advising a syndicate of local commercial lenders on the financing and legal structure of a US$240 Million cross-border transaction involving a telecommunication company laying a submarine fibre-optic cable across the Atlantic

Advised on, reviewed and negotiated facility agreements and other finance documents in respect of a $350m Loan granted by an offshore bank in favour of a domestic lending institution and drafted security documents including a Joint Memorandum of Lien over Treasury Bonds, Power of Attorney and Promissory Notes

Negotiated, generated and drafted transactional documents (including Loan Agreement, Security Deed, Inter- Creditor Deed) for a $10M Dollar Loan by a private equity firm in an SPV set up by an oil prospecting company

Group Financial Consultant

Bosun Ariyo graduated from Institut Superieur De Formation Professionnelle (ISFOP-Benin University), with BA Honours in Business Administration and Management. In the last eight years he has developed in depth knowledge and expertise in Petroleum Trading and Consulting, Ship brokerage, civil Construction, Project Management and in the Entertainment and Media Industry.

Before completion of his Bachelor program Bosun (Bossman) as his often called by friends and colleagues has consulted for industries leading capitalist firms in Nigeria, Benin Republic and Singapore to name a few. He worked as Business Development Manager at Amesia Nig Ltd where he was responsible for structuring their oil and gas operations, sourcing products and financing for its LPO/contract supplies.

After leaving Amesia Nig Ltd, Bosun started his own company (9-Town Nig Limited) which was registered in 2010 and predominantly a construction company, that executed several construction project and contracts for governmental MDA’s. He equally pioneered Sleekbeatz Int’l, a media company that vigorously invested in shows and concert and promoting indigenous music and entertainment content through its sister company Sleekbeatz Promotionz.

Bosun Ariyo is also Executive Director at Datuk Kalinga, an indigenous Mining company and PetoGas Nig. Limited, an oil and Gas consulting company that successfully brokered several Assets acquisitions by IOC in Nigeria. Bosun Ariyo is as passionate and enthusiastic about his obligations and deliverables in his respective capacities. Bosun is the Co-owner and Deputy Group CEO of Gartner Callaway GC.
