Gartner Callaway conducts research on growing the Carolina Reaper chili pepper in Lagos, Nigeria. The Carolina reaper is officially the Worlds Hottest Pepper as ranked by Guinness Book of World Records. It’s hot, and by hot, we mean HOT! The Carolina Reaper can top-out at 2.2 Million Scoville Heat Units. The trial which started early 2021 has been successful thus far with fast growth and good pepper production.
As part of our expansion programme we have commenced operations on our new farm in the Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos State, growing cut flowers, edible flowers and a wide range of ornamental plants.
In early 2021 we commenced construction and set-up of our 5 hectare farm in Epe town Lagos State. The farm comprises, a controlled environment hydroponic greenhouse and large Net houses producing a wide variety of gourmet vegetables and herbs.
